Cian is Global Head of Indirect Categories for Imperial Brands and part of the procurement leadership team. IT is one of the category areas in his responsibility on a global basis. He and his team work closely with the central functions with their business transformation journeys, plus development and implementation of complimentary category solutions through a local procurement operations network. He has recent experience with software audits, ERP, system integration, development and application support, mobile telecoms, and hosting and infrastructure procurement. Procurement have partnered with IT on all aspects of cost reduction and delivering modernisation through Imperial’s IT2020 programme, which has now moved into its next phase (“beyond IT2020”). Rationalisation, simplification and agility are key themes underpinning “beyond IT2020”
